2026-27 School Supply List

School supplies help students stay organized, participate fully, and engage in learning. Families are encouraged to provide the recommended supplies, help students bring them to school each day, and replace items as needed throughout the year. Many commonly used supplies are also available for purchase through the CMS Student Store.

Recommended supplies include:

• Calculator for students in grades 6–7
• TI-30XS MultiView calculator for students in grade 8
• Pens and pencils
• Binder with dividers for four sections
• Colored pencils and highlighters
• Wired headphones
• Backpack
• Handheld pencil sharpener and pencil pouch
• Two college-ruled spiral notebooks
• Composition notebook for students in grade 6
• Combination lock for a PE locker
• Athletic shoes for PE

CMS provides a PE shirt and shorts at no cost. Students may wear their own athletic pants or shorts instead of the school-provided shorts.

We understand that purchasing or replacing school supplies may be difficult for some families. A student’s access to learning will not depend on their family’s ability to purchase materials. Families who need assistance are encouraged to contact their student’s grade-level counselor. Requests will be handled respectfully and privately, and our team will help connect students with the supplies they need.
